EXTRA CREDIT

I picked this cartoon because to me its different I wouldnt expect someone to actually make something like this. There were others that I liked but, this one really stood out.

Project Citizen

What these middle school kids did was very impressive. They stood up for what they believed in and worked for they wanted. Their are individuals who are older than they are and wouldnt even think of doing such a thing. A new school is what they wanted and they did what they had to do.

Perfect Politician

I never really thought of what would be an example of the perfect politician. Honestly, it was kind of hard to think of a response but I figured out one. I think the perfrect politician would be someone who isn't a Democrate or Republican. It would be someone who is independent. This person would just be about what's best for the people. He wouldn't be apart of any political part but, is good for persuading people from the Democratic and Republican parties to agree to whatever situation/concern at hand.

EWWW!!!!!!

I believe that doing such things while your roommate is in the room is pretty disgusting. I do understand that its basically part of freedom of expression but thats something thats very personal that shouldnt be expressed around others. Signing a contract is not a bad idea about this situation. If the roommate dont mind for "certain activities" to occur then thats them, but I think its pretty disgusting.

The Death Penalty

Honestly, I'm really not sure about if I'm against the death penalty or for it. I do believe that if you kill someone all of your rights should be taken away because to took the life/rights from another person. There has been people who has been killed by the electric chair, legal injection, or the gas chamber but, they were very much innocent. So as of not I'm kinda in the middle of the whole execution subject.

CRAZINESS!!!!

President Carter has a point about different people being racist towards President Obama. There are many things that is going on now that has never happened while a "white" man was running the country. The statement that the former president made about whites don't believe that a black person isn't able (smart enough) to run the country is correct. The fact that President Obama doesn't believe that the color of his skin means nothing, is crazy to me. like my mama always say "they want us to watch their children, clean their houses and cars, but we cant have more power over them or be their doctors."

Kaye West is just crazy. I agree with Obama calling him a ______. What he said was out of line, but he did exercise his right to have freedom of speech.

John Locke...Social Contract

John basically believed that everyone should be equal. He believed that all individuals should have a say so in what goes on, (democracy). He basically stated how everything should be done.

Is the Constitution really as useful as we as citizens are led to believe? Explain why.

The US Constitution is very useful to the citizens and I believe that we take advantage of that.

For example, the constitution states that blacks and women are able to vote in different elections. Now everyone is able to have an opportunity to choose whoever they want to be control of something. The constitution alson states that everyone have freedom of speech, freedom of press, etc. US citizens have taking advantage of that recently. There's been many people who decided to make themselves heard about health care.
